Kate Ryan (she/her) is a designer and artist in Hawaiʻi. She graduated from Barnard College with a degree in visual arts.

Kate started out supporting contemporary artists via design, photography, production support, project management, and grant writing, including securing them major grants and awards from Creative Capital and the Guggenheim Foundation.

For over a decade, Kate has collaborated with clients on designing books, branding, websites and printed matter. She is currently editing and designing Calabash, a cookbook that is raising funds for the ongoing relief efforts on Maui. Want to collaborate? Kate is currently interested in working on book design projects, as well as helping local artists and brands tell their stories through identities and creative projects.
